Assalam all,
I know that this post might a little be out dated but just to share with all the experience i had during the event takes place.
I was at my mom in laws house a week before the election,.. gosh... my FILs' house was full of goods to be distributed to the people of BN... and at the same time.. about 3 kms from the house, the PR people are having some carnival just so all the "penyokong" can have fun and relax their mind..
Well, actually it was kinda good support for both parties but sometimes... too much hatred towards another makes me feel uneasy. I was in the kitchen cooking for Iftar when one of the BN supporters came in and starts telling bad stories about PR supporters and the event that they had... i mean come ... we are all in the same line, same religion and i don;t see why you should hate or talk bad about others... just be rationale and not emotional...
take everything as a way of life and in a positive manner..then it will be peaceful and enjoyable ambiance...
on the election day itself, traffic jam is everywhere,.... and my HB ask me to drop him at the election center while i go back to my MILs' hse. Half an hour later, HB came back and all was done.... HIS PICK IS SECRET... so no one knows... haha...
anyway... we rushed back home as we promise our kids for IFTAR and alhamdulillah we reached at abt 6.
Results came out that nite, as usual BN won with majority of 2500... well .. i shall say we must open our mind and heart towards the good things that Rasulullah have done towards ummah then only we can lead peacefully... till then we will still have the same one in years to come...
Enjoy all for Eid Mubarak is just around the corner but before that... catch the best last 10 days of Ramadhan .. may we have something good to change and make the new us.... in shaa allah...
