Experiencing God's awesome creation...
Salam all..
First day class at Intan Sabah..wow..lovely students...they are very supportive and sporting. first day class is all about basic things..so not so stress. after class, tasya, my colleague from prestariang asked me whether i wanna take a trip to KK..just to see and walk around town..
so, without hesitate, i say ok to her and after class..we shoot to KK..first we went to the Philippines market...buy somethings for friends...and i did not get anything for myself because..hmmm....i think it's a waste if i buy and not using it..soooo...i didn't get anything..huhu
after the market, we decided to have dinner before we go back to our accommodation. next to the market, there is like a night market selling variety of food....wow...so tempting and ..loooksss so delicious...
but tasya said, let's go the other side as we wanted to eat the seafood...
YES....reaching the place, on the table..there is all sorts of seafood grilled lying on the table...my god.....
we stopped at one of the stall..order fish and squid and rice...my eyes gazed at one of the dish..looks like vegetable but it is not..so i asked the lady..."dik what is that?" she answered.."itu rumpai laut..(seaweed)"...haaaa
my jaw drops...seaweed...i asked her again..."tak mati ke kalau makan ni.." she said no..
ooo ok..but we didn't take it until half way thru dinner..tasya said..wanna try out the seaweed..it looks like frog's egg..smaller version, green color and hanging from it's branch...tasya said..like caviar...ewwuwwwww...but no smell
so, we tried...and ..when i munch it, it pops in my mouth and releases the slimy watery and tasteless...mmmn not bad ...i told tasya..and tasya nodds...cool
"in my head..alhamdulillah...this is god's gracious creation...the little seaweed according to the sabahan people..can cure many diseases and can protect human from being obese...huhu
no taste and not as delicious as other cooked food..but it is full of minerals..."
so come my friends....if you visit Sabah don't forget to eat the seaweed k....difficult to fing in Semenanjung...
